GOOD News on China's Public Holiday 2025

The Good News - Total amount of Public Holidays in China is being extended by extra 2 days in 2024

Dragon Boat Festival is very early this year.

Normally celebrated in mid- to late June, the festival falls on May 31 in 2025, so Chinese workers will return from their extended Labor Day holiday on May 6 and then start the next month with a three-day weekend.

Mid-Autumn Festival is late this year, falling after National Day for the first time since 2017.

The National Day Golden Week will be an 8-day holiday this year to incorporate the Mid-Autumn Festival too
